Denise Devney graduated magna cum laude from Miami University with a degree in Sociology in 1987. Before attending law school, she worked as a psychiatric social worker. She obtained her law degree from the University of Cincinnati College Of Law in 1991. She began her legal career in a high volume law firm representing injured workers before the Ohio Industrial Commission and Social Security Administration. She continued fighting for injured workers and disabled individuals in private practice for 20 years. During that time, she represented injured workers at all levels of the Industrial Commission as well as the Courts of Common Pleas and Courts of Appeal in Ohio.
